Hotter than an Alabama Summer!
If anyone really wants to know what happened in Episode 4 (some devoted fans swear there is one) of The House of Elliot, here's the scoop: The two Elliot sisters, Evie and Beatrice made their way to to the Southeast and set up an exclusive but small design shop in East Alabama....and we Steel Magnolias are keeping them busy.
After watching all three seasons last summer, I knew these two could create the finest interpretation of Madame X's gown, and here it is!
I posed for a local photographer right there in their offices. With my hair up, my super cyber diet and hours at the spa and the vigorous laps in the swimming pool, I have managed to achieve a most glamorous look, if I do say so myself. The Colonel asked me if I would be wearing this to have some fried catfish at his favorite diner, Jim Bob's....and well... I had to tell him that Coop was waiting outside in his Duesenberg! He smiled and said, "Go have fun....college games on TV tonight. See you when you get back....but I want to take the Duesenberg to Jim Bob's Friday night. OK?"
You got it, Lover!

Don't you look completely and utterly cyberlicious??!! Annie Leibovitz did a marvelous job on your photo shoot. I'm sure it will make the cover of the December issue of Vanity Fair, daaling!
Simply stunning, FireLight! Beatrice and Evie are hard to beat. The colonel needs some pep in his seltzer! Now how about that dance?!
Stunning...you and Gary....bkm
OH yes, Darling... let's dance.
Oh, my dear Willow...thank you for sending the top photographer...
nothing but the best at Willow Manor!
Beautiful gown. And your dance card is looking good, too.
I think you look splendidly like a Sargeant sitter
very elegant and lovely!
Hope you had a wonderful time at the ball!
Wonderful! Scary, but wonderful! May I have the next dance?
Oh, yes, you may! But why, scary? Do redheads frighten you, Tom?
I popped back in for another look at the delicious Lovejoy. And I just say Cooper does look super-duper in his top hat!!
Oh, I know you won't be inhibited!!Who would be in that immortal garb? You coulda been a star! And Coop, looking so dreamy..skip Jim Bob's for a while!
You look divine! So does your date! Sigh. xo
You look great i like your blog so might follow you :)
Oh exquisite - utterly, superbly exquisite and so divinely chic. What impeccable taste you have, lovely FireLight. (Not so sure about Lovejoy, however. Although I expect he had everyone in stitches.) As for the others on your dance card..well all I can do is swoon and fall gracefully (I hope) onto the sofa where someone will rescue me (I hope)
Wonderful to have met you...I will be visiting often, I'm sure.
You're so welcome Firelight, I felt that you'd agree they wouldn't "add" anything but only distract!
