~T~, yes Asheville is a lovely mountain town. We love going to the Grove Park Inn and the Arts & Crafts Designs show held there in February.
Tess my Willow, I think this is going to be a really big year for you. (And I don't mean my finally sending the dog guard for the Rover, LOL!)
Dear Betsy, as we grow older, it helps to explore our younger selves...like visiting a long absent friend. God bless you and those Fine Five Men! What an inspirartion you are to so many!
Lady Cat, Nancy is full of hope and optimism all through the year, and it does rub off! Thank you for stopping by.
Derrick, I want a signed book! Congratulations on a fabulous yesr for you and your poetry! Believe it or not, the only touch up on that photo is the "vingette" feature. It is a color photo I made in Janurary of 2009 while visiting on a friend'd farm in south Georgia. The creek on the property had overflowed its banks creating a swamp filled with hardwoods. The morning light reached in and illuminated each clinging trace of color in the winter gray.
